MFinder is a mobile application designed to assist users in locating and recovering their lost phones in real time. It offers robust features such as tracking the phone’s location, locking the device, and backing up important data to prevent unauthorized access. Available for Android devices, MFinder ensures the security of personal data and provides tools for remotely accessing and managing the lost phone, including the ability to activate the phone’s camera and microphone

Our Objective

The main goal of the MFinder app is to provide a swift and reliable solution for users to track and recover their lost mobile devices, while securing their sensitive information in case of theft or accidental loss

Our Solution & Results

MFinder tracks lost phones by updating the device’s location every 30 minutes and activates the front and rear cameras to take photos of the surrounding area. The app also prevents unauthorized usage by switching the phone to Lost/Locked mode, displaying a contact number on the lock screen. It offers additional features like sirens, text-to-speech notifications, and video calling for immediate assistance. The app’s cloud backup ensures important data is protected, allowing users to recover or delete files remotely​.
